1. Information We Collect

Last updated: 18 August 2026

Kleanest Australia (“Kleanest”, “we”, “us” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you use our website, request a quote, contact us or receive our services. Where the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles apply to us, we will handle personal information in accordance with those requirements.

We may collect your name, email address, telephone number, business or organisation name, service address or postcode, requested service, site and cleaning requirements, preferred arrangements, correspondence, feedback, complaints, invoice information and other details you choose to provide.

When you use our website, we may also collect technical information such as your IP address, browser or device type, pages visited, form activity and cookie preferences. For NDIS or community-support services, we may receive participant, nominee, plan manager or support coordinator contact details and limited sensitive information where it is reasonably necessary to provide the service. We will collect sensitive information only with consent or where permitted or required by law.

2. How We Collect and Use Information

We usually collect information directly from you through our contact and quote forms, telephone calls, emails, booking discussions, service delivery and correspondence. We may also receive information from your authorised representative, employer, property manager, support coordinator, plan manager, referrer or another person involved in arranging the service, where this is authorised or reasonably expected.

We use personal information to respond to enquiries, prepare quotes, schedule and provide services, communicate about bookings, understand site access and safety requirements, manage invoices and business records, handle feedback or complaints, improve our website and services, prevent misuse and comply with legal obligations.

If required information is not provided, we may be unable to prepare an accurate quote or deliver part or all of a requested service. We may send service updates and, where permitted, marketing communications. You can opt out of marketing at any time by using the unsubscribe option or contacting our team.

Our website may use essential cookies for operation and security and, where enabled or consented to, optional cookies for preferences and website analytics. You can manage available choices through the website’s cookie settings or your browser.

3. Storage, Security and Disclosure

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Information may be stored in electronic systems, email, cloud services and business records, with access limited to people who reasonably need it.

We may disclose relevant information to our employees and contractors, website and IT providers, cloud and communication providers, accounting or payment providers, insurers, professional advisers, government authorities, and authorised NDIS or service-related parties where reasonably necessary, authorised by you or required by law. We do not sell personal information.

Some technology providers may store or process information outside Australia. The locations can vary depending on the provider. Where Australian privacy law applies, we will take reasonable steps required by law when using overseas providers. You may contact us for current information about relevant providers or locations.

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably required for our services, business records, insurance, dispute resolution and legal obligations. When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete it or de-identify it, subject to lawful record-retention requirements. Third-party websites linked from our site operate under their own privacy policies.

4. Access, Corrections and Privacy Complaints

You may contact us to request access to personal information we hold about you or to ask us to correct information that is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading. We may need to verify your identity before responding and may refuse a request where permitted by law, in which case we will explain the reason where required.

If you have a privacy question or complaint, please contact us with enough detail for us to investigate. We will acknowledge and respond within a reasonable time. If the Privacy Act applies to us and you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
